I am blessed to be the mother of 5 beautiful children who are wonderfully made....4 daughters and 1 son! Being the mother of a special needs child has taught me so much. One thing it has taught me is not to take little things for granted. The picture below is the first time my son willingly participated in a family photo. Taking photos of him had always been challenging and very stressful for him.
On this day, my heart was filled with joy once again by the strides he has made. If you have a child with a special need who is not fond of being photographed, just know that I have been there and know exactly what that is like. I will make the session as stress free and fun as possible. It took 8 years for my son, and now he really enjoys letting me take his photo.
